Ginger Haus – Online Ordering, POS and Restaurant Platform

Ginger Haus serves authentic Indian tandoor cuisine in Winterthur and caters for company and private events. For Ginger Haus, Infomatrix built a complete digital solution for the restaurant business with Node.js, Next.js and MongoDB, and looks after it end to end.

Online ordering with automatic restaurant routing

Guests order food online with their own customer account or Google sign-in and pay securely by card through Stripe. The backend automatically finds the restaurant nearest to the guest's address and forwards the order there directly. New orders reach the restaurant in real time, and guests get updates by SMS.

POS system and worldwide printing

For guests who eat at the restaurant, a POS system creates their bills. Orders and receipts print on an internet-connected POS printer. Infomatrix also developed a central print server: through its API, the admin can send documents to connected printers anywhere in the world.

Custom CMS and analytics

A CMS made for Ginger Haus lets the team manage menus, categories and prices themselves, sorting categories by drag and drop. Dashboards with charts show orders and sales at a glance. The platform supports several restaurants, and uploaded images are checked automatically with TensorFlow.

Servers and email

Infomatrix also set up and configured the complete web server and mail server infrastructure.
